Do you think that shows like ‘Satyamev Jayate’ actually impact the society?

As an individual if I say, yes it affects me. But, if I have to answer on behalf of the masses I would say, yes it does affect everyone but only a few give it a thought and only 1% of them act upon it in their own ways.

Aamir Khan is not a name but a brand that can endorse any product earn crores and go home and sleep peacefully. But this man has taken an extra step forward and instead of earning crores has decided to bring a change in the democracy we all so proudly live in, without doing anything.

This 2^nd season of  Satyamev Jayate had only 5 episodes, but all of them were that not only made you think but also moved your soul from within.

The 1^st episode was something that made every eye cry that saw the hideous truth.

The girl who died with blood all over, was someones daughter, sister, friend but we forget such incidents soon because it was not us.

When we were made humans, given the power to speak and express so that we could be there for each other always.

Why do we wait for an ambulance to carry a patient to the hospital, don’t we have hands, why do we wait for a girl’s brother or father to come and save her, don’t we have mothers and sisters at home, why do we wait for the police to come and hold the collar of the culprit, why can’t we all come together and show him the worst for his deed.

Yes, many questions come to my head also, I try to do all I can in my reach and I want to do all I can with my potential.

It’s not just about a girl being raped and her family fighting for years to get justice,

it’s about every small bit of matter that affects are day-to-day living.

We all collect garbage daily, but none of us actually realise that it can blossom the flowers in our gardens or bring out the best vegetables in our backyard.

We blame politicians for the underdevelopment of our nation, have we done our job correctly, votes are in our hands but we are scared of I don’t understand what that we bring back the government that has already screwed us for 5 years.

It can no-more be a blame game and we cannot go on like this we need to wake up from this open eye sleep.

Yes, we all know that such realities screened in Satyamev Jayate or any other such show moves us from within, and we all wish to eradicate such menace ,but we all just look over it and move on.

Yes when you take a step forward no one is going to put garlands in your neck but surely there will be many who want to strangle you to death. But, have you thought if all of us think like this who is going to bring a change.

It’s all in ones head and will-power,you can bring a revolution only if you try.
